We are looking to recruit a qualified Management Accountant to join our agricultural finance team, with a business partnering approach to finance.

A key player within the team, and requiring both accounting and management skills, this role is integral to providing and developing accurate and accessible financial information that underpins the business’ ambitions for financial stability, growth and profitability. In addition, providing insights and communicating information to non-finance- based colleagues to support change and continuous improvement within the business unit.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance for Agriculture, key accountabilities will include:-

Production of weekly KPIs and reports

Ensuring all internal/external monthly reporting commitments are achieved.

Leading in the collection, organisation and evaluation of key operational metrics and report on the overall efficiency and efficacy of operational performance

Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning, forecasts and budgets

Supporting all financial aspects of statutory governance and audit obligations and ensuring compliance with all external and internal regulatory requirements

Periodic sales reporting

Operational Excellence reporting as part of our continuous improvement process

Providing support to non- finance functions including guidance on interpretation of financial information

Supporting and coaching more junior members of the team

What we need from you

CIMA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

Advanced excel skills with experience of financial modelling

Experience of operating in a business partner model, working with others to create positive business outcomes

Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of business stakeholders in the translation and understanding of financial information

Happy to work within a hybrid model and able to work independently

Good attention to detail, approachable, with experience of coaching others
