We’re looking for experienced and enthusiastic butchers to join the Market Street team at Morrisons Seaburn. Whether you’ve honed your skills behind a traditional butcher’s counter or in a professional kitchen, this is an opportunity to showcase your craft in one of the UK’s most trusted supermarket brands.

As a Market Street Butcher, you’ll be at the heart of our fresh meat counter — preparing quality cuts, engaging with customers, and delivering exceptional service every day.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cut meat primals to company specifications (boning, mincing, steaking, dicing, and flavouring).
Maintain fresh, well-presented meat displays to promote sales.
Ensure product availability and accurate pricing throughout the trading day.
Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service, creating moments that matter for customers.
Use butchery tools (knives, saws, mallets, mincers) safely and efficiently.
Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene procedures.
Work flexibly across other fresh counters to support the Market Street team.

About You

Trained butcher with previous butchery or knife-handling experience.
Friendly, approachable, and passionate about customer service.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment.
Able to use equipment safely while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Team player with a proactive and flexible attitude.
