We are currently seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team, managing and expanding our retail accounts within the Fresh and added-value meat business. The successful candidate will ensure effective and profitable commercial management, coupled with progressive business development, to drive the growth of our categories.

What You’ll Do

  • Retail Account Management – You’ll take responsibility for day-to-day management for our retail accounts, spearheading efforts to maximise profitable sales growth in our fresh pork and sausage categories.
  • Costing & Profitability – You’ll become a vital player in our financial success by continuously monitoring and updating costings, identifying opportunities to boost profitability.
  • Strategic Initiatives – You’ll lead on implementing strategic initiatives that align with key customer needs and Cranswick’s business strategy pillars. Your innovative ideas and strategic thinking will help shape the future of our business.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated expertise in chilled and retail environments.
  • Account Management: Background in managing accounts across multiple categories and/or multiple sites.
  • Sales & Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and new product development (NPD) processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to understand and analyse category performance metrics and data.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, interaction, and negotiation abilities.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills.
