Currently we are looking to hire a Packaging Technologist to join our busy NPD (New product development) team.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating critical time paths for the packaging process for new product launches and amends to existing lines
- Ensure keyline drawings for new trays are fit for purpose. Present to NPD, Sales and Operations teams for approval ahead of launch
- Consideration to Second Nature targets when looking at new packaging projects and opportunities
- Submit customer packaging request forms. Verify correct packaging information for artwork to begin
- Coordinate the approval of all artwork from the artwork house through to the printer.
- Work closely with suppliers on any new packaging innovations and communicate to the business
- Maintain good working relationship with all packaging suppliers.
- Request and Review the costs of new product packaging and pass onto the Sales and Planning / Purchasing Team.
- Check and test new packaging as it arrives on site for first time to ensure it conforms to standard agreed.
- Set up new Factory QAS’s for all Retail products for the High Risk and Despatch Departments
Drivers licence is essential as the role require to travel between the Cranswick Sites.
Shift is: Monday to Friday
