Working Hours:

Monday to Sunday, 06:00 – 14:30

5 out of 6 days per week

Sunday worked on a rota basis

Saturday currently non-working
Positions are based at the Holmewood, Chesterfield site, with additional roles available at other company locations.

The Role
As a Production Operative, you will support the preparation, packing and handling of meat products in line with customer and company requirements.
You will work within the order production area of the plant, following verbal and documented instructions depending on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:

Preparing meat products efficiently to customer and company specifications

Packaging complete orders accurately to customer requirements

Ensuring compliance with metal detection and food safety procedures
-
Maintaining correct stock rotation in finished goods areas
-
Following instructions from supervisors and management
-
Carrying out general production duties within your training and capability
-
Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised at all times
-
Disposing of waste correctly and safely
Hygiene & Cleaning Responsibilities
You will be expected to:

Follow company hygiene rules at all times
-
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene throughout the shift
-
Use hygiene stations regularly
-
Ensure work clothing and equipment remain hygienic
-
Carry out cleaning duties within your work area
-
Support plant cleaning when required (full training provided)
Decision-Making & Escalation
-
Make basic decisions related to product standards where trained and experienced
-
Consult a supervisor if unsure about product quality or decisions
-
Raise any concerns regarding task suitability or responsibilities with management promptly

Full on-the-job training provided for all required tasks
