Production Operative role available with Cranswick, a leading UK food producer. This vacancy is advertised via the Meatex Jobs Board and offers an evening shift within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality and efficiency.
Role overview
In this role, you will carry out a variety of production tasks to support the smooth running of day-to-day operations. From day one, you will help ensure products are produced safely, legally and to specification. As a result, you will contribute to maintaining high standards while supporting yield improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
Key responsibilities

Follow product specifications and quality standards at all times

Champion health & safety, food hygiene and personal hygiene practices

Produce high-quality products while increasing yield and reducing wastage

Work collaboratively as part of a team to create a positive working environment

Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues

Demonstrate flexibility by completing a range of production tasks

Achieve set targets under guidance of the Team Leader or Shift Manager

Report any shortfalls promptly when targets cannot be met

Support compliance with company and customer requirements, including audits

Contribute to site culture covering food safety, H&S, ethical, environmental and energy behaviours
What you’ll bring
You bring previous experience as a Production Operative within the food industry, alongside a reliable work ethic and strong attendance. In addition, you understand basic food hygiene and health & safety principles, communicate clearly and follow instructions accurately. You work well within a team, remain conscientious under pressure and show enthusiasm toward meeting deadlines.
Pay, hours and location
This is a full-time evening role.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:00–23:00

Pay: £13.35 per hour
