Role purpose

Support day-to-day production operations to ensure food products are produced safely, efficiently and to specification

Key responsibilities

Carry out production and processing tasks as directed
Operate machinery and equipment where trained
Pack, label and prepare products for dispatch
Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
Work to production targets and line speeds
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
Identify and report faults, defects or safety concerns
Work collaboratively as part of the production team

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in food manufacturing or production (desirable but not essential)
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable, punctual and consistent work ethic
Comfortable working in a factory environment
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
