Role purpose

• Plan, schedule and coordinate production to meet customer demand, service levels and operational efficiency targets

• Ensure materials, labour and capacity are aligned with production plans

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain short- and medium-term production plans

• Coordinate daily and weekly schedules across production lines

• Balance demand forecasts with available capacity and labour

• Liaise with operations, supply chain, procurement and sales teams

• Monitor plan adherence and adjust schedules to minimise disruption

• Track materials availability and manage shortages or constraints

• Support continuous improvement in planning accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain accurate planning data and system updates

What we’re looking for

• Experience in production planning within food manufacturing or FMCG

• Strong organisational and analytical skills

• Confident using planning systems, Excel and ERP/MRP tools

• Ability to prioritise and react quickly in a changing environment

• Clear communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills

• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset

• Reliable, proactive and commercially aware
