Role overview
You will play a key role within the site technical function, ensuring that quality, legality and food safety standards are maintained throughout production. You will lead a small QA team and work closely with production, hygiene and NPD teams to drive continuous improvement across the site.
Key responsibilities

Lead, develop and support the site QA team

Manage daily food safety and quality performance on site

Investigate customer complaints and report findings

Identify quality issues and agree corrective actions with production

Escalate critical issues to the Technical Director when required

Analyse quality data, identify trends and present findings at food safety meetings

Act as site lead for root cause analysis using 5 Whys methodology

Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, customer standards and internal policies

Maintain full traceability of all products and materials

Build strong relationships with production supervisors and stakeholders
What you’ll bring
You hold a food science or food technology qualification and have 3–5 years’ experience in a quality management role within a fast-paced, preferably chilled, food manufacturing environment. You have people management experience, a strong factory-floor presence and a hands-on approach. Solid knowledge of HACCP and BRCGS is essential, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time, permanent role based at Kepak Poppintree, North Dublin.
