As a Meat Mart Retail Store Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our shop. Duties include overseeing all colleagues, keeping an accurate account of all stock movement and transactions to ensure that the store is surpassing Sales and Profit targets.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record of retail management, preferably within the meat industry, be personable and able to deliver excellent customer service through product knowledge and excellent communication, great presentation, strong leadership, and customer service skills to lead and motivate a team and surpass customer and company expectations always.
KPIs:
Surpass sales and profit targets.
Control costs
Managing stock levels whilst keeping an accurate account of all movement of stock.
Maintaining daily administration in accordance with existing procedures
Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation including customer service, food safety and health and safety standards.
Maintaining security within the store in accordance with Company procedures
Devising and implementing promotional campaigns.
Recruiting, onboarding, and training colleagues.
Managing colleagues effectively, setting colleague targets, motivating the team, and reviewing their individual yield and performance outputs.
Conducting performance reviews and appraisals.
Able to positively interact with customers and deal with customer complaints and feedback if required.
Able to meet with the Company Standards and have the ability to merchandise the shop with style and personality.
As a Meat Mart Retail Manager, you must be used to working in a fast-paced environment, be confident, diligent, energetic, enthusiastic, hardworking, trustworthy, flexible, and adaptable with several years’ experience managing fresh food departments/shops. You will lead from the front and be a real ‘hands on’ Manager, who is commercial, and results driven with a passion for success and for coaching and developing your team to be the best.
