Reporting to the Export Manager, the post holder will support the Sales, Planning and Finance departments with all purchase administration and data entry
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Sales and Planning Teams to collate and plan order requirements
- Entering all order information onto the weekly planner and Movex
- Sending release notifications for product ordered from the Cold-Store and liaise with the logistics team to ensure delivery needs are met.
- Applying for health certificates for export
- Raise purchase orders and receipt in goods/services received.
- Work with the Finance department to ensure the PO process is completed by the reporting deadlines.
- Booking Transport for sales orders
- Preparing sales and haulage reports
- Maintaining weekly KPI documents
- Collaboratively work with Supply Chain departments, export hauliers, customers and agents, to ensure 100% service level and to ensure customer delivery requirements are met
- Prepare and present sales reports as necessary
Planning
- Forward raw material requirements to internal and external departments in timely manner, informing Commercial Manager of any imbalances.
- Ensure that stocks are at optimum levels.
- Produce and update group lamb plan and forward relevant information to procurement and sales department.
- Provide holiday cover for site production planner
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple departments.
- Organised with excellent time management skills, capable of confidently working to deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good IT skills and familiar with Excel and Microsoft office
- Team player with proactive “can-do” attitude
