Shift Manager – Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will provide day to day leadership and direction of shift operatives, and also coordination and engagement of stakeholders in the operation including, but not limited to Engineering, Technical, Supply Chain (incl. warehouse) and NPD.
- Ensure compliance with all business process and procedures.
- Ensure the operational bibles (the plan and the specification) are followed.
- Ensure the correct labour (qty. and skill level) is deployed.
- Ensure that GMP and site standards are maintained and improved.
- Effective management and escalation of downtime and sub-optimal line speeds.
- Set, and manage performance against SMART objectives.
- Encourage, coach, develop and where necessary discipline.
- Yield management, reporting, and improvement.
- Close shift complaints and NCRs adequately and in a timely manner.
- Effectively communicate operational matters.
