Kepak Group is recruiting Skilled Butchers to join its Beef Boning Department at the Bodmin site in Cornwall. This permanent, on-site role is advertised via the Meatex Jobs Board.

Permanent, full-time (45 hours per week)
Monday to Friday – weekends off
Start time: 06:00
Finish: Production complete
Overtime paid at time and a quarter after 45 hours
2 × 30-minute breaks per day
Role purpose
As a Skilled Butcher, you will play a key role in preparing beef products to Kepak’s high standards of quality, safety and efficiency. Working within the boning hall, you will use your knife skills and experience to deliver consistent product specifications while supporting production targets and team performance.
Key responsibilities

Use knives and specialist equipment to cut, trim and prepare beef to specification

Ensure all meat products meet strict quality, safety and hygiene standards

Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment

Work as part of a production team to meet daily output targets

Handle and store meat products correctly to minimise waste

Continuously develop knife skills and butchery techniques

Follow all health & safety, food safety and company procedures

Pay & progression

Starting rate: £15.44 per hour (dependent on experience)
