Role overview
In this role, you will operate across key production areas including main butchery, slaughter, primal cutting and middle debone. From day one, you will apply precision, consistency and technical skill to deliver high-quality output in a fast-paced production environment. As a result, you will play a key part in maintaining product standards and operational performance.

What you’ll bring
You bring previous experience in butchery or slaughter, ideally within a factory or processing environment. In addition, you show strong attention to detail, a focus on quality and a reliable, team-focused mindset. You adapt well to production demands and remain committed to consistent standards. Training is available for candidates with strong core skills.
Pay, hours and location
This is a full-time, permanent day-shift role based in Cookstown, County Tyrone, working Monday to Friday.
Pay rates (varied by skill level and department):
Butchery roles

Current: £12.59 – £14.12 per hour

From January 2026: £13.61 – £15.62 per hour

From April 2026: £14.02 – £16.09 per hour
Slaughter roles

Starting: £13.16 – £15.61 per hour

From January 2026: £14.81 – £17.57 per hour

From April 2026: £15.25 – £18.09 per hour
