We have opportunities for butchers to join the team in the pork slaughter and processing plant on a full-time, permanent basis. The hours are attractive too: Monday – Friday, 6am-4pm.

Professional Butchery Operative Grade B Professional One cut on pace line: £14.40ph

Professional Butchery Operative Grade A Professional Two + cuts on pace line: £15.40ph

The Role:

To support the team in delivering quality pork cuts to our customers, working to the highest of standards. You will be a team player with a natural ability to motivate others and an inherent need to develop yourself through continuous improvement. You must also be very health and safety conscious.

Key Accountabilities:

Working on a busy production line, supporting the delivery of key accountabilities, including:

  • Quality
  • Yield
  • Productivity
  • Health, safety and environmental impacts

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

You will be competent in the de-boning of pork carcasses in one or more of the following areas:

  • Leg
  • Shoulder
  • Middle
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Be physically fit
