Working Hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 7:00am – 5:00pm

The Role

As a Skilled Knife Operator in the Boning Hall, you will play a key role in processing meat products to Kepak specifications while working safely and efficiently at line speed.

This is a hands-on, physical role where precision, consistency, and attention to detail are essential to meeting daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Carry out knife work within the Boning Hall to company specifications

• Process meat products efficiently while maintaining line speed

• Meet daily and weekly production targets

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and quality

• Work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative

• Carry out physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful, you will have:

• Proven knife skills

• Previous experience in a boning hall or abattoir environment

• Strong butchery experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting

• Ability to consistently meet production targets

• A strong safety-conscious mindset

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfort with the physical demands of the role
