Factory Stores Team Leader

4on 4off shift pattern, working 06:00-18:00

Cranswick is a leading UK food producer with revenue of over £2 Billion. We produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers. Now with 22 sites nationwide, Cranswick are dedicated to growing and developing our team.

We are on the look out for a Stores Team Leader to become an integral part of our growing Preston site team. You would be responsible for all incoming goods into stores and other stock control duties.

Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • Being responsible for the effective day to day running of the Stores Warehouse.
  • Carry out daily stock checks and reporting KPI’s to the Stores Management team.
  • Issuing packaging and other items to the operations team as required and update the system accordingly.
  • Assist with stock checks as required in other areas of the Stores Department.
  • To always maintain quality and traceability documentation.
  • Report any equipment defects immediately to the Stores Supervisor
  • Ensure clarity of the role for team members, including assigning of tasks, coaching and providing feedback

You will have:

  • Ideally previous experience of FMCG manufacturing (preferably food related)
  • Proven track record of managing a team
  • Able to cope under pressure and flex with production peaks
  • Counterbalance FLT licence is desirable
