Working pattern

• Full-time hours

• Shift-based production role

• Monday to Friday

Role purpose

• Carry out trimming and preparation of meat products

• Ensure product quality, yield and presentation meet specification

• Support efficient production flow while maintaining food safety standards

Key responsibilities

• Trim meat products to specification using knife skills

• Remove excess fat, sinew and defects to maximise yield

• Maintain consistent product quality and presentation

• Work to production targets and line speeds

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures

• Maintain a clean and organised workstation

• Work collaboratively with line leaders and production teams

• Identify and report quality or specification issues

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a meat trimmer or similar role

• Confident knife skills in a food manufacturing environment

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work at pace in a production setting

• Reliable with good timekeeping

• Comfortable working in chilled conditions
