Role overview

In this role, you will support the day-to-day warehouse and despatch operation within a busy food manufacturing environment. From day one, you will help ensure goods are handled, stored and moved efficiently so production and customer deliveries run smoothly. As a result, you will play a key part in maintaining service levels and stock accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare orders for despatch

• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently

• Move stock within the warehouse and production areas

• Carry out stock rotation and basic stock checks

• Use scanning systems where required

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures

• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse environment

• Support colleagues to meet daily operational targets

What you’ll bring

You bring reliability, a strong work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a team. Previous warehouse or food manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential, as training is provided. In addition, you are comfortable with manual handling, can follow instructions accurately and remain flexible in a fast-paced, chilled environment.

Pay, hours and location

This is a full-time role based in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. Shift patterns, pay rates and overtime details are confirmed at application or shortlist stage and may vary depending on department and production requirements.
