We are currently recruiting for a Yard Key Operative based at Donaghmore Hatchery.
As a Yard Operative you will ensure that the yard operates as efficiently and as cost effectively as possible while also ensuring that quality, hygiene and health & safety, audits, and general housekeeping conforms to all current SOP’s. In addition they must work together as part of a team with other maintenance and production operatives.
The hours of work are Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm.
The rate of pay is £12.92 per hour.
Essential
- Must be literate and numerate.
- Must be able to think clearly.
- Must be able to work as a team member.
- Good manual dexterity is essential.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- Good interpersonal skills are desirable.
- The ability to work on own initiative is essential.
- The ability to performance manage a team is required
- The ability to work to tight time-tables is desirable.
- Health and Safety adherence, Hygiene etc. is required.
- Previous work experience in similar work is essential.
- Forklift licence experience desirable, training will be provided.
