Last year, Ukraine increased exports to the EU by 8.6%.
In 2019, Ukraine increased poultry meat exports to the European Union by 8.6% on year – up to 134,260 tonnes, becoming one of the world’s top three suppliers to the EU, that’s according to the European Commission report. According to statistics, in 2019, only Brazil and Thailand were ahead of Ukraine, having exported 313,600 and 308,600 tonnes of poultry meat to the EU, respectively.
It is also reported that Ukraine last year increased poultry meat imports from the European Union by 0.3% to 178,620 tonnes, and also entered the three largest markets for European exporters. The European Union exported most poultry meat to the Philippines (228,8700 tonnes) and to Ghana (164,720 tonnes).
