Role purpose

Carry out skilled boning and trimming operations within the boning hall

Ensure meat is processed safely, efficiently and to specification
Key responsibilities

Debone and trim meat to customer and production specifications

Use knives and boning equipment safely and efficiently

Maintain high standards of yield, accuracy and consistency
-
Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times

Work to line speeds and daily production targets

Minimise waste and maximise product yield

Maintain a clean, organised and compliant work area

Carry out quality checks and report defects or issues promptly

Work collaboratively as part of a production team
What we’re looking for

Previous experience as a boning hall butcher (essential)

Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cuts

Experience working in a high-volume meat processing environment

Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards

Reliable, punctual and consistent work ethic

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
