We are looking for an experienced full carcass Butcher to join our team at Bridge 67, an award-winning, family-run, high-street butchers shop selling home-reared and locally sourced produce. We trade in high-quality, premium cuts from our own beef, lamb, and pork, together with a large selection of British cheeses, breads, hams, pork pies, and sausage rolls from the deli.
As a Butcher, you will ensure the provision of high quality, professionally prepared meat products for sale at our high street shop in Kibworth, Leicestershire. Working independently, but also as part of a close-knit team, you will empower others through training and development to achieve the same exacting standards you already possess. Supporting the existing team of skilled butchers, you will have a good understanding of seasonal demand and be a progressive thinker supporting the growth and future successes of Bridge 67. The community of loyal customers will appreciate your expertise and advice as well as a warm welcome to the shop.
Your key responsibilities as a Butcher at Bridge 67:
- Full carcass Butchery on beef, lamb, and pork
- Liaising and working with the farm re production and quality of carcass
- Identifying market areas of growth
- New product development
At Bridge 67, we’re looking for a Butcher with the following:
- Extensive experience in full carcass butchery, specifically beef, lamb and pork
- HACCP compliant
- Experience with quality control
- Experience performing stock rotations
This is a full-time role, working days only. The shops opening hours are:
Tuesday-Friday, 08:00-17:00
Saturday, 08:00-13:00
In return, you will receive a salary of £35,000 – 40,000 per annum, a meat allowance plus a pension scheme and statutory holiday.
