We are expanding out Preston site Butchery department by recruiting experienced butchers to the team.
Main duties include (but not limited to):
- To work to the department targets and cut or butcher any part of the carcass to specification.
- All muscles on any primal, on any line, within the Butchery Hall to be cut correctly, seamed and trimmed to the required standard
- All bones to be removed from any primal and to the required standard
- Fully skilled on the hand-held whizzer
- Complete all tasks on the Cutting Line (including knife work)
- Competent in operating all saws on the Cutting Line, including the loin derinder
You will have:
- Previous butchery experience/knife skills
- Understanding of continuous improvement tools and techniques
