About Us:
We are a family run business.
We are looking for a Butcher to work in our busy Butchery in Polhill Garden Centre in Badgers Mount .
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Preparation for sale
- Boning, trimming and cutting meat, demonstrating excellent knife skills.
- Presentation of cuts to a high standard
- Sausage and burger making
- Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and food safety in the butchery with strict adherence to HACCP Regulations
- Providing excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Retail or catering experience would be preferable. The right attitude is as import as the right skills as we are looking for a team player to join us.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills
- We are open 7 days a week and therefore you must be willing to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Own transport needed
Package on offer:
- Competitive salary. Rate to be discussed and determined by experience.
- Two week shift pattern, hours 7am – 5.30pm
