BUTCHER/ RAW MEAT PRODUCTION .
Arthur Haigh Ltd is a small family run business based at Dalton Airfield Industrial Estate, Thirsk. We manufacture and produce the award winning Doreen’s black pudding, cooked meats, bacon and sausages. We are seeking a person to join our team. Duties to include prep raw meat for cooking, making sausages and de boning pork for dry cured bacon and slicing, packing and labelling . Cleaning of production areas. Checking incoming deliveries and putting away. Hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (occasional Saturday mornings). This is a full time, permanent position. 40 hours per week. Salary £13.35-£ 15.00 ph. Applicants must: Have the ability to work well within a small team. Have the ability to learn and adapt to new skills , Have a knowledge of food hygiene and safety an advantage but not necessary as training will be given. Additionally: Have own transport, due to the location of the company. pensions and staff discount.
