Description

Kepak are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant to work in our busy Stores Department. This is a full time permanent position, working 8:30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with a salary of between £24,000 to £25,000 per annum depending on experience.

This is an office based role to support the Purchasing and Packaging department with day to day activities.

Key Accountabilities:

Create orders from purchase requisitions.

Monitor and control booking in of deliveries.

Assist in keeping delivery schedule up to date.

Expedite orders / chase late deliveries.

Place orders on SI System for PPE.

Assist in monitoring KPI’s.

Assist in monitoring and controlling crate ordering.

Monitor TLR packaging.

Health and Safety awareness.

Company policies and procedures must be followed.

Requirements

Previous purchasing administration experience preferred.

Good time keeping.

Should be a team worker, and able to carry out daily tasks with minimal supervision.
