We are looking for a highly visible, hands on Quality Factory Manager to lead quality, food safety, and compliance activities within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
This is a factory-floor focused role, not a desk-based position. You will work directly with production teams to drive standards, resolve issues in real time, and ensure product integrity at every stage of the process.
* **Location:** Kirkconnel DG4 6RB (must be able to commute/relocate)
* **Salary:** £35,000 – £40,000 DOE
* **Driving licence:** Preferred
* **Work authorisation:** Must have the right to work in the UK

**What You’ll Be Doing**
* Maintaining a strong daily presence on the factory floor
* Leading and supporting factory-based QC activities
* Ensuring compliance with quality and food safety systems
* Driving GMP, process control, and product quality standards
* Investigating non-conformances and implementing corrective actions
* Overseeing supplier approval and raw material compliance
* Leading traceability exercises and supporting audits
* Acting as one of the key technical voices across site operations
**What We’re Looking For**
* Experience in a Quality / Technical Management role within food manufacturing
* Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and factory operations
* A practical, solutions-focused mindset
* Confidence working directly with production teams
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
