Role purpose

Lead and manage production operations on shift
-
Ensure food safety, quality, people performance and output targets are achieved
Key responsibilities
-
Manage production teams to deliver daily output and efficiency targets
-
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and quality standards
-
Promote and enforce Health & Safety procedures on shift
-
Monitor production performance and address issues in real time
-
Lead shift handovers and maintain accurate production records
-
Coordinate with Engineering, Technical and Planning teams
-
Manage labour, staffing levels and break allocation
-
Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality and productivity

Support training, development and performance management of team members
-
Act as the senior responsible person on shift
What we’re looking for

Previous experience as a Shift Manager or Production Manager (essential)

Background in food manufacturing or FMCG environments

Strong leadership and people management skills

Good understanding of food safety and quality systems

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
