Role purpose

Carry out skilled knife work within a meat processing environment

Ensure products are prepared accurately, safely and to specification

Support production efficiency while maintaining quality and yield
Key responsibilities

Perform skilled knife tasks including trimming, cutting and preparation

Work to detailed product specifications and quality standards
-
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and personal safety

Minimise waste and maximise yield through accurate knife work

Meet daily production targets as part of a team

Maintain a clean, safe and compliant work area

Follow all company SOPs and customer requirements
What we’re looking for

Previous experience as a skilled knife hand or meat operative (essential)

Confident knife skills in a production or factory setting

Strong attention to detail and consistency

Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety

Able to work independently and as part of a team
