Specialist Skills Trainer
RETAIL
(Evening Shift)
ROLE:
- Reporting to our Learning and Development specialist, the Specialist Skills Trainer will be a crucial
link between Operations and Learning and Development.
- Welcome evening shift new starts to the business, provide orientation of the department and
introduce them into their role, including .
- Deliver all job specific/key skills training for the evening shift.
- Ensure completion of Job Specific Standard operating procedures and Quality procedures.
- Deliver refresher training and updates.
- Record, Monitor and update all training records to the training matrix, ensuring management is
involved with regular updates
- Ad Hoc training as required.
- Ad Hoc duties to include support to other departments during busy periods.
- The hours of work for this position are Monday to Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm, however flexibility
around these hours can be discussed with the right candidate.
Requirements:
• Previous production floor/ butchery experience and knowledge of butchery specifications is
desirable.
- Proficient knowledge of raw and finished product, a broad knowledge of cutting specifications
and cutting lines of the de-boning operation in beef and lamb is desirable.
- IT skills to include Microsoft packages.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, however full training will be given.
- Flexible approach to working hours is essential including evenings and weekends as required.
- Ability to read, write and speak English to a high standard.
